Dr. K Kumar has been working in the field of Nephrology for the past 10 years at prestigious institutions such as the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) in Puducherry, the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) in Lucknow, and the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh. He is currently a Consultant Nephrologist at Aaditya Kidney Care Clinic in Puducherry.
Dr. Kumar was awarded a Gold Medal in Biochemistry and has presented papers at numerous forums during his postgraduate (MD) and postdoctoral (DM) days. He obtained the MBBS degree from JIPMER Puducherry in 1996; the MD (Medicine) postgraduate degree from JIPMER Puducherry in 2001; and, the DM (Nephrology) superspeciality degree from PGIMER Chandigarh in 2006.
Dr. Kumar has been a speaker at many Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) programmes. Dr. Kumar's main fields of interest are Diabetic Nephropathy and Steroid Resistant Nephrotic Syndrome. |
